Sarnicola is most well-known for founding the health and wellness direct sales company ViSalus in 2005. On its 15 year journey, Vi pioneered the category of “Challenge Marketing” while doing nearly 2 billion in sales from 2010-2016 alone. It is said that every weight loss and fitness challenge seen today stemmed the original Body By VI 90 Challenge launched on Challenge.com by Sarnciola in 2009. Body By Vi produced 3.5 million health transformations in 18 countries on its run.
Nick simultaneously owned and managed Vi-Events, producing anywhere from 50- 100 sales training and leadership events per year for the Vi sales promoters. This includes a 15,000 person conference at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Starting as the Chief Sales Officer in 2005, Nick helped lead the company through a four-year buyout by a publicly traded holding company valued at nearly $700 million. He and is partners then bought the company back several years later posi-tioning Nick as the lead investor, shareholder, and CEO. Recently, Vi sold to Pruvit International and Lacore Nutraceuticals concluding their 15 year run.
With a passion in creating life experiences for people they can take with them forever, Nick also cofounded LIV Global, a platform dedicated to turning your “Bucket List into a LIV’ed list.” LIV Global ran 50 global experiences ranging from 100-700 people all over the world. It’s decentrlaized LIV Local platform also ran 100’s of events weekly is the US and Canada offering a Gig Economy opportunity for local curators.
Other notable ventures would be a partnership in the tech startup venture fund, Hashtag One. This $10 million fund has investments in as many as a dozen companies, highlighted by HEAL and Cura Partners. In 2019 Cura Partners brought Nick in as SVP of Sales. Cura was subsequently acquired by the largest Cannabis company in the world, Curaleaf, while simultaneously spinning out its CBD brand Sentia. Leaning on his leadership experience, Nick was internally promoted to help navigate through what is now the largest cannabis acquisition in history.
NextGen was established over 10 years ago with the passion to educate, encourage and empower young people to take charge of their own destinies through entrepreneurship.
The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has a mission to foster entrepreneurship through mentorship, scholarships and seed capital. NextGen provide the skills, resources and focus to help young people realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
The Rooks-Sarnicola Entrepreneurial Institute is designed to support Muskegon Community College in continually empowering young entrepreneurs in the inter-cities with business funds, ongoing education, training and mentorship.
Currently, Nick resides in Miami, Florida with this two children. He spends most of his time working on international team building for Pruvit Global, business development for LaCore Enterprises, and NextGen Entrepreneurs an NPO he founded in 2012.
Recently, Nick launched Catalyst Group, a national sales accelerator focused on renewable energy and big data marketing.
